Throwback Post: Peaceful Play

I’ve decided to start reposting some of the very first images from House Art Journal, my longtime blog which was the beginning of these journals. Enjoy!
Before Christmas we try to sort through our toys and give away what we don't need "to make room for Baby Jesus." But it has the additional effect of making our children aware of the toys they do have. Having too many toys is overwhelming for children and lessens Christmas joy. So I take this pretty seriously.
