This is the third part of the 2005 audio drama of my book THE SHADOW OF THE BEAR, in which the sisters Blanche and Rose encounter the darker parts of their friend Bear’s “shadow.” After an unexpected dual adventure at the high school prom, where neither girl spends the evening as she expected, the sisters regroup and decide to investigate the mystery of Bear’s appearance and mysterious absence. New allies appear in the form of an old high school acquaintance of Bear, an elderly sister teaching English, and a sketchy young man known as Fish, destined to become my most popular character, at least according to my readers (we have sold a lot of these shirts). The actor voicing Fish, Dan Schneibel, was at the time an extremely amiable young man, more Mr. Bingley than Darcy, but after we turned him down, he begged to re-audition twice—the third time he nailed it. Enjoy his performance!
